Who is eligible
Eligible applicants
Eligible applicants are:
- For-profit dairy processors who process milk from cows.
To be eligible, applicants must also:
- Hold a valid federal or provincial licence to carry out activities with respect to dairy processing.
- Be Canadian milk buyers.
- Be federally or provincially registered legal entities capable of entering into legally binding agreements.
Eligible studies
To be eligible, the study must be required to obtain a licence, a permit, or financing for an investment project:
- That will increase the processing capacity to address the issue of the surplus of milk solids non-fat.
- That has a positive impact on dairy farmers' global revenues.
- For which the following have already been identified: product(s), market(s), market environment, risks and mitigation measures, preliminary timeline, and additional volume of milk required.
